Wherever You Are, Impact Will Be There
Wherever you have a need, we can be
there. Our goal at Impact is to provide labor in all areas of your facility,
from manufacturing to distribution. Our presence in seven states testifies that
we can do this across the country. Our nationwide company has significant
strength in areas all over the map, including: Lebanon, Memphis and Nashville,
Tenn.; Northern Mississippi; the Chicago land area of Illinois; City of
Industry, Fontana, Mira Loma, Ontario, Redlands, Riverside and Victorville, Calif.;
Corsicana, Dallas and Grand Prairie, Texas; Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia; and
York, Penn. If you are located near these areas of operation and would like to
save 5 - 25% of your annual labor cost, contact us at Impact. Owner and CEO of
Impact, David Hamilton, said, "Certainly if you have need in another city, we
are able and willing to work with you to provide service anywhere in the United
States." He continued, "We are not tied down to one location but offer our
labor model to any warehouse anywhere." Impact has grown to be the nation's
premier on-site workforce provider by basing its business model on production
incentive. You don't pay for hours worked but for the work performed. We ensure
our employees are rewarded by their performance, therefore they work quickly
and efficiently to get the job done and you pay a fixed cost. This model has
worked effectively across the country and we are confident from our past
experience that it will work for you wherever you may be. Let us save you time and money by
providing you with labor based on the cost per unit model. To learn how to partner
with us today, contact Keny Hatley at khatley@iels.com or 901-301-5113.

Keep It Clean and Under Lock-Down
As the safety
director of Impact, here are two tips that I have found will help you maintain
a safe and secure facility. Safety Tip - Believe
it or not, good housekeeping is a great safety tool. A clean environment
encourages several things. First of all, once a work place is picked up, it is
more likely to remain that way. A clean place also displays organization at the
site. If things are put away, it means the warehouse has taken time to find a
place for everything. In addition to an orderly work environment, good
housekeeping prevents injuries. If pieces of wood from pallets are picked up
and in their rightful place, lifts will not jump over or drag wood across the
warehouse floor. Trip hazards can be avoided, as well, by keeping loose paper
and cardboard off the ground. A well-kept warehouse indicates a well-run
warehouse because if housekeeping is in order, other operation functions are
probably in order too. Security Tip - Where's
the best place to steal a company secret? Computers, phones and dumpsters. The
first hazard you should be aware of is unlocked computers. Always lock the
computer when you leave a room and shut down the computer when you leave for
the day. Phones should be on lock-down also. If you sit down with your cell phone
in your pocket, it could accidentally call the last number dialed or any of
your contacts. This gives others access to your conversations without you even
knowing. An easy solution to this is to put your numbers lock on your phone
when you're not using it or leave it in a holster instead of a pocket. The
final step to insure maximum security is to shred important papers instead of
putting them in the trash. You can then have an independent company pick up the
shredded paper. Propriety information is easily accessed so be careful. You
don't want it ending up in the wrong hands, taking away your competitive edge. As always, stay
safe! Denny Fillinger
