If The Market Recovers, Are You Ready After Downsizing Third party flexible labor may be your answer

 Hamby_doc
It seems like the weekly headlines have told us for some time now about companies who have unfortunately had to downsize. We all know of someone who has been affected by this problem and the hope is our economy has stopped the free fall. Well... let's not sound any alarms, but there are signals that we might just be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. But are we ready?

As consumer confidence slowly grows stronger, the need for products will follow. This is a good thing, right? Absolutely! The answer is a resounding YES for the logistics and warehousing industry across the board. There's only one problem. Does the slow increase in products moving through your facility warrant hiring new staff? The reality is that can be a costly risk. However, there is an alternative solution to this situation.

Impact Logistics' President and CEO, David Hamilton, says, "Using a contract labor provider can help companies flex their own employee workforce without incurring any risk". Hamilton goes on to explain that, "We're seeing this a lot lately. We specialize in unloading non-palletized product for distribution centers in seven states. More companies are now contracting our flexible labor force instead of adding employees in this volatile time. In fact, many warehouses are simply changing their philosophy to incorporate our freight handling as part of their strategy."

To learn more about how Impact Logistics can help your warehouse become more productive when unloading its non-palletized product, contact their Vice President, Business Development Brett Veach at bveach@loadingservice.com
